Hendrik Zeitler

Hendrik Zeitler is a photographic artist who uses photograms as part of his practice. This is a camera-less photography process, where objects are held against photosensitive paper and exposed to light to create one-of-a-kind prints that record a specific moment in time. The process is unpredictable as it is sensitive to many ambient conditions.

Zeitler lives and works in Sweden. He holds a master’s degree from the School of Photography and Film, Gothenburg University and currently teaches photography at HDK-Valand, Gothenburg University. He is a board member of Hammarkullen Konsthall, Fotobok Gbg, Gallery Box and Swedish Photo Books authors, part of the Swedish association of Photographers

Zeitler’s work is held in various collections including Västra Götalands Region, Volvo, City of Umeå, City of Gothenburg, Hasselblad Foundation and Swedish Arts Council.
